Hi
I'm attempting to push the clock speed of my AMD HD7950 graphics card, but any frequency I try causes strange visual glitches.
I've set the Power Limit in MSI Afterburner at maximum plus 20%.
Changing the clock frequency from 925 or adjusting the Mem Clock still leads to artifacts. This issue occurs with both AfterBurner and Saphire Trixx, and even with AMD OverDrive rendering, my Windows installation fails with a BSOD.
I've also tried using Safe Mode to run the Win Installer Service and removed the problematic software.
Only then did I realize the problem might be related to the firmware not supporting overclocking for this CPU model.
👍
Anyone have suggestions or should I check if the firmware itself is the cause?

System details:
Win 10 Pro x64 build 1903
AMD Ryzen 1800x
Saphire HD7950 (Adrenalin 2019 19.5.2)

Discovered the perpetrator: After updating through the key releases of Crimson, I landed on Version 16.10.3, which allowed me to overclock smoothly! Now it's time to challenge the GPU.
