Ok, yeah I was going to unplug and pull out everything and start over to see if that would do anything soon. I can see if a friend has some other memory I can switch out or I was going to try one stick at a time in the machine, but I don't. I see people talking about PSUs but I don't think I should have a issue with that. I did a HWinfo test a few weeks ago. Not sure if you would be able to read and get any info from it.

Display problem detected. A memory issue could cause crashes beyond just the screen. Possible causes include the GPU/display driver, the cable, or the monitor itself. When this occurs, press Win-ctrl-shift-b to reset the display driver. If the display returns, remove drivers with DDU and reinstall them. If it doesn’t work, consider replacing the DP or HDMI cable. What model is your monitor? Are you using HDR mode?

I was considering that but wasn't sure. I attempted to hold down those keys, yet the screen won't turn back on. I've also tried connecting my TV with a different HDMI cable on various ports, but the issue persists. My monitor isn't special and doesn't support HDR—it's an HP M24f. I removed the drivers using DDU and reinstalled them again. Could it be related to the latest GPU driver updates?

I recently completed a Cinebench multi-core stability test lasting 30 minutes and achieved a score of 29006. Additionally, I ran an OCCT GPU memory test at 80% usage and 3D Adaptive extreme for one hour each, and both tests passed successfully. It was surprising to see I could run both tests consecutively without the screen freezing. Whenever I leave my computer idle—whether watching YouTube, browsing, or using an emulator—I usually get about 20 minutes before it crashes every time.

Now that I consider it, it doesn't have to be a Display/GPU problem. Even a memory issue, not just VRAM, can sometimes make the monitor go blank. This usually points to a temporary fault with the main RAM stick. The computer might still be running (fans spinning, sounds playing) but can't send a display signal. Look into the dump files for any hints. Could switching to another kit, perhaps one that's QVL approved, help?

I believe I might have resolved it. I reformatted my HD and performed another reinstall, and I haven't encountered any problems for about two hours now. I've left YouTube on and surfed without issues! I haven't installed the AMD adrenaline software for my GPU yet, so perhaps that was the cause? Should I try installing an older driver to check if this issue recurs? I've only updated Windows and my memory.

If all else remains unchanged and adrenaline is the sole factor, it might point to a compatibility problem with a particular version. You may want to test it.
