Using a tiny boot drive means keep it away from the installation media and place it elsewhere.
Don’t agree to the "Express" option—opt for "Custom" and set the destination to another drive or location you prefer.
Also, beware that "Express" installations often include unnecessary (sometimes intrusive) software along with the main program!
