Well, if it offers a quicker transfer than the previous one. Because we don’t have details about the older drive, we can’t determine if the new version is faster, slower, or just like your current setup.

Great, everything is running much quicker now. I’ll add the older slow drive too—it’s still quite sluggish. Is it alright if my laptop uses both the fast SSD and the slower HDD? Won’t that create any issues? I plan to keep the games on the HDD.

No problem having both installed.
That is a very common config.
But you DO want to delete ALL partitions on the old drive, and reformat it completely.

Reject the suggestion to format only the old C partition. This method does not display the original boot partition or recovery partition. Use diskpart from the command line and run the clean command to achieve the desired result. See the provided links for further guidance.
