Just get a 3700X and overclock it, there isn't much reason to get the 3800X over the 3700X

It's definitely the outlier in the list. I've never come across anyone evaluating it, usually only seeing Ryzen 7 3700x mentioned while skipping 3800x, 3900x and 3950x.
