Is Guild Wars 2 Good?
I'm curious if others are still playing Guild Wars 2. I purchased it initially but played it on a laptop at low settings, which wasn't great. I didn't remember owning it anymore, so now I have a machine that can run the game well. Is it still popular today? I liked learning about it and watching content, but does anyone say it's worth spending half a day downloading and playing again?

I adore GW2—it's an incredible multiplayer game (my top pick ever) and packed with action. Few players enjoy it now, but I still have a strong affection for it.
GW2 is a solid game, I've invested roughly 3k to 4k hours playing it recently. The newest updates have been average at best and haven't added much new content in my view. That's partly because Anet struggles with managing the revenue they generate from the game. I don’t play much anymore, but I’m pretty dedicated (I’m well above the average gold level). Nice timing getting home just now!
It received a lot of hype but lacked real depth. It failed to engage me for nearly a week, so I switched to another game. I paid for a lifetime subscription for $250, which I still enjoy even after it became available for purchase, and now have over 3,000 hours playing.
