Curious about whether folks are enjoying themselves on the web even with longer wait times?

load times are fast—usually under ten seconds! The only delay comes when a complex mission is planned.

The loading times are extremely quick. (though I haven't tested it on my PC yet) It's also enjoyable.

The loading times are actually quite good. It usually takes about a minute or two for Rockstar's servers to get you into a session. I strongly suggest trying GTA Online. Just like with every other GTA title, the online multiplayer is what makes the game truly enjoyable. The campaign is entertaining, but it only represents a small fraction of the overall content and playability available.

The servers perform well. Current connections work smoothly with friends from the US and UK, experiencing minimal lag or sync issues.

YouTube is ready for you. Type "GTA V Online" and you'll notice a lot of results.

In my experience the loading times are horrendous, and the Online has a shitload of problems for me, which mostly include freezing on a screen. Sometimes it freezes on the "overmap" view and I don't know if it's loading, or it's trying to connect to the server, or it's bugged out, but sometimes it loads, sometimes I have to alt+F4. Oh, and it crashes too, although not a lot recently. But the gameplay itself is loads of fun. I've only done 2 heist setup missions and they are great. When you have to steal the Hydra and escort it with fighter jets, and Danger Zone comes on form the radio.

Online free roam can be less exciting when you're by yourself—just solo players without many friends, mostly just strangers on the server with no mic. But events like races are super fun! 16 players racing in jets is insane! Or 30 players racing in cars with weapons turned on. The chaos and laughter I had in one race wasn’t felt in any other game. If you find the right people, GTA Online becomes the most thrilling experience you'll have.

Online works best when there are no excessively slow loads, especially if it switches to a fresh server. Otherwise, I usually experience about 20 ping.
