Purchasing from there is completely acceptable. The legitimacy of acquiring the keys remains unclear, you just don’t know. Still, most items are bought in large quantities from dealers who have either failed or stopped selling them separately... (just a guess, I’m not quoting).

It's quite fascinating! Your Windows 7 activation issue seems to stem from a mismatch in key validation, possibly due to a counterfeit or mislabeled key. The system treated it as invalid, likely because of discrepancies in licensing data or software version checks.

It's similar to a pawnshop that doesn't inspect the items.

I was really frustrated at first, but they eventually suggested calling Acer because it was their prebuilt model. After spending two hours searching for a number that didn’t require upfront payment, they said only Microsoft could handle it. I decided to pirate Windows 7 since I didn’t want to deal with that every time I swapped hardware. (To be honest, I only spent $9 for an 8.1 on G2A, but I still don’t recommend it.)

They're taking advantage of a gap and it might seem questionable from an ethical standpoint, but it's clearly legal. Based on what I understand, keys purchased on G2A are generally accepted by most buyers. There are isolated cases where keys were obtained through dishonest means, but you should consider that small chance versus the minimal cost. A $2.80 expense is hardly significant if issues arise. I tend to favor official resellers. The uncertainty and questionable practices bother me, so I prefer paying those who created the product.

It generally functions, but be prepared for the possibility that the key may stop working after six months.
