Have you seen G2A used before? I’m thinking about purchasing the Civ 5 Complete Edition for $16.31. I’ve heard some concerns about it being risky since you’re buying from unknown sellers on Steam. Would you like advice on how to verify a seller’s legitimacy?

I've had only positive encounters. I placed the order for Witcher 3 about a month ago.

It's similar to purchasing items from random sellers on Ebay. You might end up with what you want, but sometimes scams occur. Even with "Shield" insurance, support often overlooks legitimate claims. I'd avoid platforms like G2A unless there are better alternatives.

G2A functions mainly as an intermediary for purchasing keys from others or companies. They provide a degree of security, and I’ve consistently had positive interactions with them. There’s no definitive guarantee the keys are genuine, but they’re likely to function correctly.

That's not what I meant. I wasn't trying to suggest anything unlikely.

Ignore them, my friends—I've all purchased over 50 games together, and the only issue we faced was resolved in a single day.

It is grey market, they buy cheaper keys from poor regions and sell them and than people from poor regions can't buy them, buying stuff from G2A is scumbag thing to do.
