There are platforms where purchases aren't directly from the seller but involve ads on the site, which should be approached with caution. You can't verify the seller's authenticity. If the key price in the region is around $20-30 (like Brazil) and the game is listed at $10, it suggests the seller paid significantly less than the market value. Also review the site's terms and conditions. Many such sites lack consumer protection unless you opt for it. Kinguin, for instance, offers a 48-hour guarantee if issues arise within that period. If you don't resolve problems during that time and haven't purchased additional safeguards, you could lose money.

Yep.
I get all my games from G2A.
The only issue is their customer service is terrible, so I just pay via PayPal and that’s enough.
Also, look at seller reviews—only buy from sellers with 90% or higher positive feedback.

It's safe enough to use, I've purchased some items before.
However, sometimes the keys aren't obtained through legitimate channels. When I realized this, I stopped using it.
Things like credit card scams to buy game keys, then selling them on the site. They ended up in trouble, I guess. I believe it's over now as I remember them making a deal with Epic or Rare, but I can't recall which one.
Nowadays I mostly rely on Humble Bundle or CDKeys.

I have purchased some games from g2a before.
I faced three possible scenarios regarding my purchase:
1. I bought a game with the g2a shield (which is more expensive) and received a guaranteed game key. This has consistently worked for me.
2. I bought a game without the shield and ended up getting an already used or invalid game key. This frequently occurs if I don’t buy from a reputable seller on that platform.
3. The same situation as above, but I actually received the key, which is rare.
Regarding account usage on g2a, there was a dispute about whether g2a could take money from your wallet if you don’t log in regularly. However, it’s possible to purchase games without an account.
I suggest using cdkeys instead; I’ve never had any issues buying keys there.

I had 1 problem since starting to use cdkeys and it was when I bought a game and heard nothing of the key for several days.
When I raised it, although showing as in stock, it turned out it wasn't, so I was given the option of a refund or wait and get it when it's back in for the same price.  Chose a refund and it went through with no problems at all.
So the service side is fairly decent too there.
