I've reviewed several webpages about this, and the outcomes appear inconsistent.
I own two XFX Fury X's in CF.
My frame rates in bf4 Ultra @ 4k average 120FPS with a minimum of 80FPS.
I'm aiming to maintain around 120fps as much as possible.
The clock reads 1050 on both cards without any voltage adjustments or additional mods, so I expect 1100-1150 but wonder if this would really improve performance or just waste time with little benefit.

You won't be able to, these stock coolers operate at 80°C, which means when you increase the speed it will force the fan to run at full capacity, then lower it down afterward.

you won't be able to, those stock coolers handle the card at 80c at stock so when you overclock it will force the fan to 100% then quickly lower it after.
????
Fury "X" Note the X
They are water cooled and never exceed 55c even with furmark.
