Is everything functioning correctly?
I've just got my 1300W MSI PSU from Scan today, and after installing it I noticed some PCI connectors can't be connected because the lock/snap mechanism is obstructed by what looks like capacitors.
Everything seems fine once everything is plugged in, but I ran tests with Furmark and checked the PSU monitoring via MSI Centre—it appears normal—but it still feels strange that certain connectors are blocked.
(Sorry for the blurry image)
The six-pin connectors aren't intended for PCI-e connections as indicated on the socket. Are you attempting to link a capacitor?
The standard 6 pin cables provided with the PSU aren't compatible with the locking clip. It seems the Sata power cables were mistakenly connected elsewhere. I also found an image from Kitguru showing similar components, though my units look smaller.
