Greetings everyone,

I've noticed a consistent problem with reduced frame rates in Destiny 2 since I transitioned to PC gaming. To be clear, I'm relatively new to PC gaming in general.

In other games, I usually achieve frame rates between 135 and 144 when running at 1080p on a 144Hz monitor. However, in Destiny 2, I'm only receiving frame rates within the range of 80 to 90. I’ve experimented with numerous graphics settings, but the frame rate remains stable.

I've attempted various troubleshooting steps without success. Has anyone else encountered this specific problem and discovered a solution?

System specifications:
ASUS Prime B450M-K motherboard
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with a clock speed of 3.9 GHz, featuring 6 cores
ASUS Phoenix RTX 2060 with 6GB of VRAM
Corsair Vengeance 16 GB at a speed of 3000mhz
Kingston A400 240G SSD

You are experiencing performance issues and are likely receiving lower frame rates than anticipated. Using the link provided at GPUCheck, you can observe benchmark results of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 2600, which indicate frame rates typically ranging from 90 to 120 frames per second. It's recommended to utilize Afterburner overlays to investigate whether these issues are temporary or indicative of a persistent problem.

Are you employing a GeForce card to configure your video preferences? What level of depth of field are you utilizing? Have you attempted exiting the Battle.net launcher after the game has begun running?

Currently, I’m working, but my ASUS graphics card monitor indicates a maximum temperature of 85 degrees. I’ll verify this information and report back to you shortly.

I'm experiencing issues with my GeForce card, and it’s not providing any noticeable improvement. The Depth of Field setting consistently results in the same frame rate regardless of my adjustments. Launching Diablo II through BattleNet causes the application to close.

To begin a game, check your task manager to identify any processes running in the background simultaneously. Furthermore, adjusting graphics settings using GeForce is not recommended; instead, utilize the manual controls within the Nvidia control panel.
