I recently installed a new computer, but after a couple of months it began to crash unexpectedly while playing games such as Mostly Ro-blox and Beam.-ng, along with other random moments. When it crashes, both the RAM and CPU lights flash briefly before turning off again, then back on. It also switched between the RAM and CPU indicators and would not boot until I restarted it. In the past week, it has also shut down completely, except for the RAM RGB light, even when unplugged from the power source and plugged back in. There are no diagnostic lights displayed. After roughly an hour in each incident, it would display a Windows loading error message before I could restart. This issue has persisted for about a week or two now, and I’m not sure what to do next. I ran a Windows memory diagnostic because there was a possibility of faulty RAM, but the results came back normal.

Another potential cause could be the power outlet. The second outlet has many devices connected to it, some of which have stopped working but function elsewhere. The older computer that didn’t crash had a 450W PSU, while my current one is an 850W unit. I suspect the new machine might be drawing too much power from the wall, leading to instability and eventual crashes due to insufficient supply. CPU and GPU temperatures remain within safe limits (<60 under full load, briefly reaching ~80 during game loading).

Anyone have any insights into what’s going on or suggestions on how to resolve it?

Check the most recent information. The PSU doesn't consistently supply full wattage; it only provides the necessary amount when required by the PC.
