Hey everyone,
I own a desktop with a Ryzen 7 5800X, GeForce 3070ti, 32GB Corsair RAM, and COD MW is frequently crashing with this error:

When you click on scan and repair, it initiates a process that affects the game's functionality. The platform you're using for the game is Steam.

I've checked the running of bnet numerous times without success. I reinstalled the game four times on two different drives. It seems to be a hardware issue, but no problems with other games.

Are there any RGB control programs active? Should I turn them off prior to playback? Is there any additional overlay software in use?

There is an integrated RGB feature that’s always active. I’m checking if there’s an app to manage it. I haven’t seen a method to adjust it. I use iCue for my headset, Logitech hub for my mouse/keyboard, NVIDIA Experience, and the Dragon Center MSI app (just recently).

This situation has occurred multiple times since the new season started. I never experienced any problems in season 1. No crashes at all.
Restarting the shader optimization or adjusting video settings helped prevent another crash. Just need to click the button and restart the game.
I hope this eases your concern, as random crashes have been a big issue with COD Cold War before. You could always scan and repair it, but sometimes the game just has bugs. At least they’re doing better this time.

Keep failing... it's probably best to switch to a different game.

Can you begin by logging in as an administrator in the start menu, or access the folder named game files using game_ship exe? One additional suggestion is, when the error window appears, close it and attempt to restart the game again. Alternatively, try launching the game in safe mode.

I've attempted to adjust settings as an admin, reducing graphics and similar things. It seems like there might be an audio issue. Often, the only sound I notice is a particular non-ambient noise.
