Is Blizzard reducing my internet speed?
Downloading Blizzard while playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare significantly reduces my internet speed from 320 Mbps to approximately 10 Mbps. Any suggestions? I wish they had remained with Steam!
I do not utilize Blizzard and possess no relevant experience. What is impeding the download speed, the global internet or specifically Blizzard’s servers?
What methods are you employing to assess your internet speed? Is Battle.net active during the testing process? Could it be that Battle.net is engaged in updating its files, thereby consuming bandwidth?
When I measure my internet speed using speedtest.net, it slows down. Uninstalling battlenet improves the speed. Reinstalling battlenet and then taking two days to reinstall COD Modern Warfare caused a decrease in internet speed. Battlenet does not run during speed checks.
