It's comparable to several paid options, straightforward to learn, and doesn't need a subscription or payment for commercial use. A powerful 3D modeling tool with a game engine built on Python—though in reality, few actually use it that way.
Maya excels in certain areas, yet Blender stands out as the top choice beyond Autodesk options, surpassing many paid programs. It’s well-known and benefits from a strong user base.
It's great and it's open source!! It can take a bit to get your head around though and the UI is not always that great. Definitly worth watching some tutorials. Also the big buck bunny 4K demo was made with blender.
