I personally rely on the AVG TuneUp tool, even when it was originally developed by AVG. It proves helpful, offers interesting functions, and allows easy adjustments to many Windows settings. I consider it a comprehensive solution for PC optimization. You can also obtain it and apply it for 15 days free of charge; after that, the improvements remain even without an ongoing subscription.

I work for AVG. However, I remain unbiased. The AVG PC tuneup program works well when you avoid the registry cleaner, refreshes the icon cache, and allows customization. It can also adjust process priorities dynamically. I was offered to use it, but not because I don’t care—it’s a useful tool only if you find it helpful. I recommend trying it out to see if it suits you.
