Ac4 on pc was poorly optimized. I couldn't play on the highest settings on my r9 280, hopefully they'd fix it because it is a great franchise!

I really enjoy Assassin's Creed. Consider skipping AC3 unless you're keen on the narrative or find a good price for it.

AC2 was the top IMO, I also enjoyed AC4. AC1 and AC3 weren't that great.

It's likely the only series I've stuck with consistently without fully understanding it. I only noticed yesterday that my shelf holds over six AC games. They're not worth the 60+ dollars anymore. If you wait a few months—or if you're just starting, grab them all now for under 20 dollars—you'll enjoy more than 25 hours of play each and find them all great.

Good shows work well for the plot, though battles feel weak; otherwise they’re quite enjoyable.

Don't purchase them at the regular price. They all look identical except for a few variations in weapons, but Ubisoft doesn<|pad|> to not back them.

Really great games, you should check them out. I would recommend to wait until you see a sale for them.

You haven't experienced every game since each has its own unique tale. I'm currently playing Ac 4, which is a pirate-themed game, but from what I recall the first one was about an assassin in training.
