September 14, 2021 — KB5005565 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topi...b71e3e6b44 My computer becomes chaotic every time I install this update. Razer Synapse fails, AMD drivers vanish, and my Logitech keyboard or onscreen keyboard stops responding. When I attempt to open settings, I receive the error "There’s a problem with Settings. Refreshing your PC might help fix it." Successfully restoring from the control panel before the Windows Update helps. I’m running Windows 10 Pro.

You've just applied the update and haven't used your PC recently. It's suggested to run the DISM tool via the terminal to verify your Windows installation remains stable.

I'll need to look into that since I don't understand it.

Win 10 appears to be functioning well. I ran a repair just to be safe.

Not sure about any changes after applying the fix, even though no errors appeared—it functioned properly this time without issues. Thanks!

Based on the printout, it seems the tool resolved several problems. Happy to assist.

I performed the update this morning, but the AMD Radeon Software failed to launch. (GPU software) It didn’t uninstall, it simply wouldn’t start. Even though an update was necessary, I downloaded and installed the newest driver version, then restarted the system and everything functioned perfectly.
