Is a temperature of 90°C typical during execution of Prime95?

I tested my 2700x overclock using Prime95, reaching a maximum temperature of 90°C. Was that typical or unusually high?

Version 29.4 build 8.
Looks like ~90C is typical, though.
It's too hot, though. It will throttle at 90C. I just run stock with the higher single-core boost.

I would say that at 1.45v it's quite typical.

Yeah, I know it's high, but it doesn't get close to that when playing games. With GTA V, it caps at 50C with the overclock.

Latest iterations of P95 incorporate AVX operations, leading to increased processor temperatures. Consider using P95 v26.6.
