Is a new ASUS gaming laptop with an RTX 3050 Ti card causing my game to lose frames?
Hey, I got this Asus TUF FA507RE-HN034 laptop and it's acting up when the temperature gets high. About 80 degrees is where things get weird because my video card stops working. I've turned off the computer a few times and updated the BIOS code, but the problem keeps coming back. What do I need to try?
Hey there! Did you check if your BIOS software is up to date? If it isn't, what version are you using right now? You might want to try ThrottleStop to see if lowering voltages could help your laptop cool down better. When we talk about laptops, how much heat do they produce? "Setup" here just means where the laptop sits on your desk or table. I've reset my Windows computer several times already. Nothing fixes that! You should probably think about reinstalling the operating system instead of just resetting it. First, you need to make a new bootable USB drive with the OS installation software.
I used RUFUS to fix the Windows OS by printing from USB. My BIOS version is already at 315. ThrottleStop doesn't work because I'm using a Ryzen 7 6800H. I also have a Zalman NS2000 cooling fan under my PC.
