Is a 12-year lifespan considered excessive for a power supply?

I aim to create a new setup and consider using the Antec HCG 750 from my previous PC, which is now 12 years old.
I worry it might be outdated soon.
It performed well when it was a good kitten and worked without issues.
Should I maintain it (and spend more on a better GPU) or upgrade instead?
Power supply is among the most important areas to invest in wisely. It forms the core of your whole setup.
Thanks guys.
In this case I will change it.
I will go with
Cooler Master
MWE Full Modular PC Power Supply, Fully Modular Cable Management.
It is listed as B-Tier gold:

Can anyone recommend something else for the same price?
You can purchase a superior ATX3.1 model at a reduced cost

If you don’t require ATX3.x, you can obtain a high-quality NZXT C series Gold

This option is significantly better than the CM MWE Gold V2.
If you're examining a 750w psu, it's probably best to use your existing one that's known to function properly.
It's a premium device with a decade-long warranty.
What is your current GPU and which one would you prefer to upgrade to?
Recent high-end graphics cards often experience significant power surges.
Consider models with at least 850w or even 950w capacity.
Seek a unit offering the same ten-year warranty as before.
