I aim to create a new setup and consider using the Antec HCG 750 from my previous PC, which is now 12 years old.
I worry it might be outdated soon.
It performed well when it was a good kitten and worked without issues.
Should I maintain it (and spend more on a better GPU) or upgrade instead?

Even the top power supplies would need replacement after that long time. Considering wear and tear, it makes sense to purchase a new one.

It is listed as B-Tier gold:

If you're examining a 750w psu, it's probably best to use your existing one that's known to function properly.
It's a premium device with a decade-long warranty.
What is your current GPU and which one would you prefer to upgrade to?
Recent high-end graphics cards often experience significant power surges.
Consider models with at least 850w or even 950w capacity.
Seek a unit offering the same ten-year warranty as before.
