Before the big event I had 32 GB of RAM, but now I’m realizing 6400mhz might not work well with a 7800x3d chip. I thought underclocking to 6000mhz would be simple, but I didn’t consider the latency of 38. I’m unsure if it’s safe to overclock the latency, so I’m looking for the best solution.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! The ideal settings for AM5 platforms are DDR5-6000MHz or DDR5-6000MT/s, here are some options:
1| You might try DDR5-6400MHz speeds and observe your performance.
or
2| You can manually set your RAM to DDR5-6000MHz with reduced latencies, aiming for CL30 and recording the results.
DDR5-6400MHz was recommended for Ryzen 9000 series processors and B850/X870 chipsetted boards. What is your motherboard model? Do you have a link to the RAM kit you're using?
