You're mistaken. 4K refers to a higher resolution achieved through graphics processing power and available VRAM.

You seem confused about the topic. Have you ever played a game in 4K resolution?

You're all set. Would you like to share the evidence, or do you already know what you're saying?

Check the system specs for 4K titles running on 8GB of memory.

There's also the single rank vs dual rank issue - testing shows that actual dual rank dimms or 4x single rank dimms improve results This is usually accomplished with 32gb by default since it's dual rank 2x16 or single rank 4x8

Consider the variations in your setup. 4K textures demand greater memory for loading. It's important to understand these differences as you continue gaming.

Vram, not system RAM, that's what you're asking about. Hardware specs usually don't match what people think.

Man, that's a tough situation. Back in 2014 with only 8GB RAM, I definitely ran into memory issues when playing 4K games. After switching to 16GB it worked fine. You should ask what 4K titles are running on your system and why the specs don't match reality. If RAM didn't matter then why keep such low limits?
