I initially considered purchasing 16 GB of RAM, but noticed many games suggest 32 GB. Is it worth it in 2022 to invest in 32 GB for gaming and streaming? Could it be a future-proof choice? In my country, having 32 GB costs about $100 more than 16 GB—so I’m hesitant to spend if it’s not necessary.

You can always purchase 16GB now and later upgrade to the same model for 32GB again. I think 32GB is a great amount, allowing you to run everything smoothly during games. 16GB is reaching a point where you might need to close your browser or pause other apps for optimal performance, like in Minecraft 2.

It looks reasonable, but if the claim is that a 32GB unit is priced higher than a 16GB one by $100, you might be paying significantly more. In Europe, a 32GB model typically stays under €90, while in the US it can approach around $80.

Sure, for gaming it's not usually a big deal, but for those with many browser tabs or doing video work, having 32 or more makes sense.

16 GB CL 16 costs $80, while 32 GB CL 16 is priced at $175. In my country these prices tend to be higher compared to other regions.
