Hi, I'm using an AMD FX 8320 and trying to push it to 4700mhz. I plan to switch to Intel soon, so longevity isn't a major concern right now. Right now I'm at 4600mhz. Increasing the voltage to 1.5 would likely be safe, but I should double-check to make sure it won't cause any damage.
I'm good until 1.55 with solid cooling on CPU and VRMs, using LLC for stability.
It won't be destroyed immediately, but it might take some time—months or even years—depending on circumstances. You should be careful not to get extreme temperatures above 90-95. I think it's okay as long as you switch to Intel.
My friend uses about 1.5v feed on his FX8350 for over a year, and everything looks normal.
