Hey there, I took a break from CS:GO for two weeks and when I returned it kept warning me about VAC verification issues. Not cool, so I switched to Source. Played for about four minutes, then got a disconnect message saying my computer was blocking the system and I couldn’t play on secure servers. I checked both games, restarted Steam, went back from the beta client to the stable version, and restarted my PC. Still nothing works. No unusual programs running in the background—just Steam, Wallpaper Engine, Razer Synapse, Steelseries Engine, Vibrance GUI, Skype, and Soundblaster sound card control panel. Need some help.

CS:S functions briefly, yet it disconnects, indicating you don’t need to reinstall.

Did you reach out to Steam support? They typically respond within approximately one day. Have you experimented with insecure servers?
