Hello everyone, after reviewing videos and reading online resources, I finally set up some Ubiquiti equipment (UDM SE, two U6-Lite and two G4-Bullet). My configuration is: FTTH (P2P) to the SFP WAN of the UDM SE. My ISP uses PPPoE and it connected smoothly. The issue began when I tried to set up IPTV. Before using the Ubiquiti gear, I had an ASUS router (AC68U) linked to an Innbox V60U modem/router in bridge mode. On the ASUS router, I ran a basic script: robocfg vlan 3999 ports "0t 1t 2t 3t 4t". That was sufficient—no DHCP or firewall rules needed, it worked perfectly. I tagged all ports with VLAN 3999 (used by my ISP for multicast IPTV) and applied it to both WAN and LAN interfaces. I experimented with various VLAN settings in UniFi but couldn’t get it to function. I found a static route on the modem (Innbox V60U): Destination IP/Prefix 10.253.9.6/32, Gateway 10.64.184.1. It turned out IPTV is unaffected by PPPoE and works even if the connection drops. If you connect directly to the modem, the STB (also from my ISP) receives an IP like 10.64.184.xxx on VLAN 3999 and 192.168.1.xxx on the untagged data VLAN. My PC is on 169.254.x.x for VLAN 3999, but IPTV still functions thanks to a virtual Ethernet adapter. If anyone has tips on configuring this in UniFi, please share your ideas. Thanks and best regards, T

Good luck! I almost gave up trying to set up IPTV on my system. My old Asus router had CFW already installed, and just needed to add the TV VLAN and it worked. I’ve never managed it with an edgerouter—it’s a bit tricky since there isn’t a straightforward way to include TV traffic. After that, I stopped using cable internet altogether. It would have been great if it were easier!

It seems there might be a technical constraint preventing completion right now.
