I don't have specific details on the exact launch date for iOS 10, but you're right to notice the 'next week' updates—they often indicate a timeline rather than a confirmed release.

Currently it is: This autumn. However, they plan to announce a date the next day for the iPhone event.

major technology platforms generally accept the idea that Apple tends to announce products a week later, which would place the next announcement on Wednesday... this is just an estimate from well-known tech sources like TechRadar

It is the 13th of September, and that's all there is to it.

It's available now, so you should refresh your system. Anyone know if Apple plans to add dark mode for iOS?

I noticed only the Clock app seems to have dark mode options, and I haven't found any settings yet. It would be awesome if the whole system had a dark mode available.
