Do you know if the PSU PCI cable from your FSP Hydro G 750W (80 Plus Gold) can be used with the FSP Hydro PTM Pro 750W (80 Plus Platinum)?

I think your Hydro G Pro stopped working and you switched to the PTM Pro as a backup? I haven’t located any official details about this. Even CableMod doesn’t sell ready-made FSP power kits—they’re only found in the configurator. Could FSP provide guidance? Do you own a multimeter? Both power supplies should include cables, so you can test continuity with the meter to verify matching pinouts. It’s time-consuming, but support might be your best option if they can’t assist.

I discovered this. It looks quite similar since they appear to be from the same manufacturer.

It resembles a friend who discarded the box along with extra cables. Recently he purchased a new GPU requiring three 8-pin connectors, whereas his previous one only needed one. For the Hydro G Pro, I currently own it and have the additional cable. I’m considering lending it to him because ordering new cables will be nearly impossible in our region and costly. I’ve contacted FSP support, but their response time is slow. I also asked if I could use the Hydro G cables with his old FSP Aurum Xilenser—it still functions and might work with the new GPU from my friend. FSP develops its own power supplies and serves as an OEM for other manufacturers. The diagram below confirms that the two products in question work together.

Thanks for the update. We handled that before. Now it's about applying the same to my old FSP Aurum Xilenser, right?

You notice the connector doesn't match.

It seems you need to purchase a new power supply unit, especially one without a case, which you liked before. A budget-friendly 80 plus bronze should work temporarily. Thanks for noticing!
