Hey, I see what’s going on here. Your laptop behaves differently depending on the connection method. When using a wired link, it performs at full speed, but with Wi-Fi—especially through Cloudflare’s VPN—it slows down significantly. Other devices on your network seem to work fine. This could be due to interference from the VPN or network settings. Try disconnecting the VPN and see if speed improves. You might also want to check your router settings or contact support for OpenWrt to adjust how it handles Wi-Fi traffic.

No, I didn't alter the IP or DNS settings of the Wi-Fi adapter on the laptop.

DNS is configured for automatic assignment via DHCP, matching other devices. I also use 1.1.1.1 as a backup to 8.8.8.8 on the router. It's mostly just browsing and downloading occasionally.
