I reside in a property in Alberta with the lowest available internet speed being around 10 Mbps, sometimes dropping to under 1 Mbps. During the day it rarely exceeds 3 Mbps, and only reaches up to 10 Mbps at night. Playing online games is nearly unfeasible due to the high ping of about 200 ms. Is there a way to improve my connection? Could upgrading the router help? My gaming PC barely functions.

Welcome to the world of internet in the sticks. The truth is likely no. When you mention "the best WIFI...", it might sound like you're getting a local connection, but probably not. The connection is so slow because it's the only one nearby and everyone else is using it too. That’s why speeds increase at night. You have two choices: move or adapt to the situation.
