I've been experiencing problems for about two weeks with my desktop connecting to the internet. I'm not very familiar with how it works, but something seems off. Websites like YouTube and Google Drive are loading slowly or showing a constant loading screen, even though my speeds are still over 100Mbps and my ping is normal. Upload speeds are fine too. I don’t face issues on my phone or laptop, but both wired and wireless connections are affected. Since I don’t have Ethernet ports on my laptop, I can’t check the cable. I’ve tried changing my DNS to Google’s servers and that didn’t help. My ISP reported no similar problems in my area either. It seems the issue started with a snowstorm yesterday—could that be related?

Run a speed test on a service such as speedtest.net and share the results here.

Obviously not. Since no one else mentioned the issue and your phone functions properly, the problem likely lies with your computer. Consider reinstalling the browser or performing a virus scan using Malware Bytes.

It could indicate an issue with your PC, similar to what was mentioned in a prior discussion about your computer becoming sluggish during games.

The browser reinstall didn’t resolve the issue, and no malware was found during scans. The detection results stayed consistent before and after the reset. Could you consider other solutions? Thank you.

I believe this might be related too, though I’m mainly seeing network issues with certain sites like YouTube. When playing games, my ping stays normal, so it could still be a PC-related problem.

I also attempted that and the issue continued. Apologies, I should have added it to the initial message!

No, the issue doesn't keep happening on those sites.

I've mainly used YouTube and Google Drive for most of the last couple of weeks. Twitch and other platforms are also fine. I looked into Down Detector for those sites, but the outcomes there differ.
