It might be a loose or faulty cable or a defective driver/NIC. Just try reconnecting the cable again.
The interesting thing is it functions perfectly without any issues when connected via the modem. I’ve tested various Ethernet cables, and since the modem operates correctly, it’s unlikely the issue lies with the network interface card on my computer. I have no clear answer.
You might want an Ethernet splitter to connect your device to the modem while also linking it to the router for Wi-Fi.
