Hey everyone! Today, out of nowhere, I saw through Steam that my internet with the PC is only 100 mbps. Even though SpeedTest says it's supposed to go up to 200 mbps (and you can see in the picture), I don't think so because my connection was exactly this way when I tested both SpeedTest and Steam. I don't have another cable or another PC to test, but with Wi-Fi on my tablet, it's 170 mbps. I haven't changed anything at all—neither did the computer (the link speed has always stayed low) nor the router or any other device. What can I do to fix this?

You likely have a broken wire. That happens most often.

How is that possible? I mean, the cable was brand new and worked perfectly for a whole month.

@WimP You are posting in a six month old "necro" (deceased) thread. Please start a fresh thread and give us all the details about your computer's hardware and operating system. Also, tell us exactly what kind of modem, router, or modem/router you have. Finally, shut down any further posts on this topic.
