Absolutely, that's exactly what I was thinking too. That's why I'm really confused about why I'm seeing some frames drop.

I identified the issue, but it keeps capped at 100 even though the board speed should hit 1000 Mbps. The boards I'm using for the second PC are linked here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-...-rev-11#sp

Cat5e supports speeds up to 1GB/s, but a damaged cable may affect performance.
