Hello, thank you for reaching out. I understand your concerns about the unstable internet connection on your PC. Based on the information you provided, it seems like the issue is primarily related to your gaming and streaming activities rather than a general network problem. The speedtest appears adequate, but the buffering during Twitch streams and the erratic connection in games suggest potential hardware or software factors. It might be worth checking your graphics card and power supply unit, as they could benefit from replacement if they’re still functional. Let me know how you’d like to proceed!

That seems unusual. I’ve experienced two-digit numbers since birth! Are you checking the device manager or network adapters?

Tell me about your connection setup. Is the cable linking the router straight to your computer?

depends on the distance of the server you're using. I see 4ms when I connect to my ISP's servers, but 12ms is considered normal. Consider installing the correct driver from the motherboard's site.

They made us use their modem and router together, and now my computer connects straight to the router.

It might help to update the driver. I haven’t downloaded from the MB site yet—I’ll try. It seems I’m getting a stable connection for the first time in months… (kind of similar to feeling better before a doctor’s visit, right?) But I’m sure this is just the exception!

Don't worry, this has happened before with friends or family asking about my PC issues—it seems like they think the computer is afraid of me.
