Hey everyone, I've been facing really slow internet speeds while playing Forza Horizon 5 lately. Downloads are barely 5Mb/s and uploads drop to just 0.2Mb/s. Usually it's around 100Mb/s download and 10Mb/s upload. I think the issue might be that my PC is using more CPU power for Forza than it should. When I run a speed test without the game, Firefox takes about 25% of my CPU, but with Forza running it only uses around 10%. Any suggestions or ideas to fix this? Thanks a lot!

Yes, while gaming you can check network usage to monitor speed and ensure a stable connection.

While using only Forza, network activity stays below 2% in Task-Manager and doesn't exceed 1Mb/s in Ressourcemonitor. During speed tests with Forza, usage jumps to around 14%, and Ressourcemonitor shows a steady 0-1Mb/s. It seems the network never reaches 100% in Task-Manager while Forza is running. Is this the problem? (I'm not sure if this will help, but when I run a speed test without Forza, the network usage goes up to 100%).

Do you have gigabit Ethernet available? Could you install Cinebench and run the 10m benchmark loop? Then perform speed tests. Just to see how it performs at full CPU load, not just in Forza. What was the CPU usage during the test? When was the 10% usage recorded?

You're asking about CPU usage on Forza with a 100Mb/s connection. It seems the system is handling the speed test well (normal speeds) but showing high CPU load around 90%. This could indicate resource-intensive processes or background tasks. Your installation doesn't appear broken, but performance might be affected by other factors like game settings or system load. Consider checking for updates or optimizing background apps.

Are you experiencing delays in P2P downloads while playing a video game? Is your connection slower on another device or phone when using Forza on your PC?

I'm experiencing really poor internet performance—sites load slowly and Discord isn't working. It seems like my PC is using a lot of CPU for Forza, but I don’t know how to fix it.
