Internet connection is extremely laggy on the desktop version of Discord.
I link my PC to the internet through Wi-Fi (Ethernet isn’t an option, and it’s far from the router). I experience solid speeds elsewhere on my system, as confirmed by local monitors and Speedtest results. However, Discord behaves differently—on my PC it’s slow, barely exceeding double digits in kbps, and images load painfully, while other apps run smoothly. The issue seems to be specific to Discord on my desktop. Is there a way to improve its performance?
I attempted to resolve most Discord issues by removing and reinstalling the application. Occasionally, files become damaged during this process.
