The setup won’t cap you at 10/100. I’ve tested a decently old 50ft 5e cable and still achieved near gigabit speeds. For you, the best advice is to check the adapter settings and attempt a full duplex at 1Gbps, or look into router configurations if it doesn’t work.
router supports d-link gigabit connectivity. I believe the most recent LAN driver is installed.
My D-Link router model is DIR-842, and I believe it can handle 1 gigabit per second.
