Hello, I've been facing this problem since setting up my PC. Some internal SATA drives appear as removable devices like USB. I tried the command prompt command: "reg.exe add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\storahci\Parameters\Device /f /v TreatAsInternalPort /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d 0". It seemed to fix it and make those drives internal. However, after restarting, another drive shows up as removable again. I'm using Windows 11. A screenshot is attached showing the issue with my Samsung SSD 870 EVO and a large external drive. I've also tested running the command twice in a row with both bus numbers, but it still appears. Thanks ahead!

It might be related to the BIOS settings. Check if Hot Plug for SATA is activated and consider disabling it.
