Hi, I recently purchased a PC and it’s causing some issues. The setup includes a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB RAM, RTX 2070 B450, Aorus MPSU PSU S12III-550, 80+Bronze, and a 550W power supply. The main problem is unwanted interference from other components inside my case. Whenever I move the mouse or scroll, I hear a noise or sound in my headset. Another issue occurs during gaming at maximum settings—my GPU makes a buzzing sound, but it stops when I switch to the game’s interface or press certain keys like Windows key or Alt+Tab. This stops until I return to the game screen. I've tried various headsets, jack ports, and different mice/keyboards, but the problem persists. The keyboard, mouse, and headset combination isn’t causing anything on this machine, so it seems to be a hardware-related issue. I’m considering contacting warranty support for the PSU, Mobo, and GPU.

The noise in your headset comes from EMI, which can be resolved by using an external DAC/AMP or audio interface. The whine from your GPU is normal coil whine, and replacing parts won’t help—it’s just part of electronics behavior.

For a DAC, the SMSL M2 offers excellent value due to its affordability and small size. It only requires a single USB connection.

I suspect you used an adapter instead of a dedicated video card. Should I even consider returning the GPU because of the coil whining, or should I leave it? Also, could switching to a different sound card affect the built-in audio you have on the motherboard, especially if you're only gaming?
