On my Windows 10 workstation, everything starts when I click on the icons. That’s what really counts for me.

I get that point. In my view, how the operating system appears matters since many individuals—including me—allocate significant time watching it. Numerous people fixate on their computer screens throughout the day. They invest considerable time and resources into visual design while often neglecting simpler areas like their personal spaces.

i only run windows 10 on a pc dedicated to gaming, nothing else. a tablet works well for me, while the metro interface is perfect for tablet use. on my desktop, i prefer not to interact with it directly.

I dedicate much of my day to browsing through various apps—Firefox, Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Lightroom—rather than the Windows desktop. As long as I can read text, images, or data, there’s little to adjust. With over fifty years of computer use, starting from an IBM mainframe, perhaps I’m overlooking something.

Hello, You can bring some changes on the menu GUI for free via this tool: http://www.classicshell.net/ I enjoy tweaking GUI’s and make them more fun but classic shell makes it easier and free. There is also https://www.stardock.com/ but it is not free and I find it heavy sometimes. Regards, Elsa Ballerina
