Interesting image during gameplay
Hello, I began playing Transformers War for Cybertron but the screen looks very strange, almost bulky. I have a video to share and ask for assistance. Any support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Here are my system details:
PC Specs
Motherboard - ROG Strix X570-F Gaming
CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU - AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (12gb)
RAM - Ballistix (12gb)
PSU - Corsair RM 750X
You may wish to clarify how much RAM you have installed on your system, for example. Following that, mention the age of the power supply unit in your setup. Then attempt to reinstall your GPU drivers by removing all remnants with DDU.
When reinstalling discrete GPU drivers, run the installation in an elevated command prompt—click the installer and select Run as Administrator.
I've included your system's details from your previous message because these specifications may shift over time, making this discussion less relevant for someone currently in your situation.
This is the only game that works for me. Both of you seem worried about my RAM. My GPU has 12 gigabits and I have 12 gigabytes of RAM installed. I think there might be an issue somewhere. Games like Red Dead Redemption 2 run well on my system, but this one is causing problems.
Edit: I rebuilt my PC in 2020, everything was fresh.
Thanks.
As the game is older, you might be missing some Direct9 .dll files. Your game is a Direct9C version. Windows 11 supports Direct9 but occasionally requires additional .dll files from earlier versions to be added.
You can obtain the DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) from the Official Microsoft Download Center.
The Microsoft DirectX® End-User Runtime installs various runtime libraries from the older DirectX SDK for certain games that use D3DX9, D3DX10, D3DX11, XAudio 2.7, XInput 1.3, XACT, and/or Managed DirectX 1.1. Please note this package does not alter the DirectX Runtime already installed on your Windows system.
You might also consider trying the 2015 C++ redistribution to get both 64bit and 32bit versions.
Install the 64bit version first, then proceed with the 32bit.
Additionally, download the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 from the Official Microsoft Download Center.
The Visual C++ Redistributable Packages install necessary run-time components needed to run C++ applications developed using Visual Studio 2015.
Run the installer and it will confirm you already have the latest Direct X version. Sometimes it will allow the missing .dill install even though it says you're up to date. I’d also like to limit the FPS in that game to check if performance improves. Your high-end hardware might be overloading the engine more than expected. Serious Sam The First Encounter is a good case where you need to cap FPS. F.E.A.R. the first encounter does the opposite, struggles with low FPS, and requires manually adding a .dll file for it to run smoothly above 300 FPS. Every game behaves differently—older titles on faster systems often perform better.
