Eventually you understand it and try it for a short moment, but soon reviews pop up saying "this game is toilet water." Everyone starts laughing at you because you know it from your Steam games, and you feel both sad and angry. You end up avoiding playing it again. That’s exactly how I felt about CoD Ghosts :lol: don't laugh! :angry:
I don’t care much... past pre-orders were a waste and honestly, it seems like a tactic to collect payments from people who aren’t fully in control. I’ll only pre-order if I get my money back before deciding, since that’s not possible. They can mess with the whole process if they want!
I've only ever ordered Alien Isolation (which I really enjoyed) and this new title. Watch_Dogs was a hit too—I didn't face all the criticism. I relied on the developers to make it good, so if it turns out lacking, I'll be furious not just because I had high hopes for Rocksteady, but also because I let them in.
I understand your perspective since I had similar experiences. My first pre-order I bought and disliked was Medal of Honor, while the last one I tried was CoD Ghosts. I even gave away my Watch Dogs Steam key because I thought the game wasn’t engaging enough for me.
