In my computer, there are cables connected to an MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 power supply. I am planning to purchase a new MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 power supply and want to use the existing ones. Are these cables compatible? Replacing them would be difficult. That's why I prefer a power supply from the same manufacturer. The MAG model is very noisy, while the MPG is reportedly quiet based on reviews.

Don’t change the cables—stick with what came with the devices.
Swapping them would be a hassle; taking this extra step is worth it.

Sadly, cables are included in the power source. Choosing a different PSU might lead to issues. You must replace the CPU and motherboard connections. What remains is the GPU? It wouldn't be safe to keep an outdated power cable with a new PSU.

I don't think the MSI engineers would be as foolish as EVGA in allowing modular units with varying pinouts. However, you can verify the voltages at the cable's end using a multimeter.

That seems simpler than just swapping the cables.
😊
Also, it's obvious the connectors differ.
Check for square pins and rounded pins—connectors from one power supply won't work with another.
