You don’t need to install KDE as your default environment; instead, you can add extra libraries and run KFind using any desktop manager like gnome or xfce. For a lighter setup without system-wide packages, try the Flatpak version available at https://flathub.org/en/apps/org.kde.kfind, which includes KDE/Qt runtimes.
