I believe you can control Age of Empires using just the mouse. Maybe Sims too? And don't overlook Bloons Tower Defense.
Oxygen Not Included supports custom keybindings, letting you assign your mouse to frequently used actions. You can also use the number pad to map less common commands. While not exclusively mouse-based, a full-sized keyboard will make your movements smoother and allow you to play with just one hand.
Civ 5 is a favorite among players who prefer mouse controls, with around 2400 hours logged over the years. If losing your left hand permanently happens, a mobility aid—like a removable game pad for foot movement—could act as a substitute for WASD. With some practice, you might still manage keyboard games. The idea I had was a device that lets you move forward, backward, and sprint using pedals; it’s not flawless but functional. Hi, the issue isn't permanent loss of function. The documentation indicates full recovery won’t happen until at least 10 months. Playing games for that duration would be challenging. I’m trying to stay active and see how much progress I can make. Thanks for your feedback.
