Hej y'all! I'm still struggling with choosing a mobo for my planned setup. Here I've listed all my planned components for now: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/fZwpvW As the ROG Strix B550 mobos will probably cost too much, I checked the new Gigabyte mobos with the B550 chip. I found a site with the priced (dunno if they are 100% accurate tho). I'd love to hear some experiences with Gigabyte mobos from u and also which of the new Gigabyte B550's u'd recommend me. I'm thinking about the B550 Aorus Elite vs the B550m Aorus pro. Here's the price list and some information about the mobos: https://wccftech.com/gigabyte-b550-mothe...-detailed/ Thanks in advance! Best Regards, baeni.

Wait for all models to be released. The rog strix is too expensive with no unique features. Check the b550 tomhawk mag—it has a 6-phase 4 stage power design and is reasonably priced. Edit: about that list, opt for the 5700xt unless you require nvec h265 or similar. Updated June 12, 2020 by TofuHaroto

Taking Gigabyte's recent issues into account, the B550 Pro4 by ASRock seems like a safer choice.

What kind of problems were you looking for? I didn’t mention Gigabyte at all.

They typically come with a strong voltage supply by default. The boards aren’t top-tier in quality either.

Considered upgrading to an AMD card but still enjoy NVIDIA H264 for OBS.

In 2070 you’ll find these micron-quality drama chips, close to B Die. They’re slightly overpriced for RAM, but the look is worth it.
